Happy Valentine’s Day 2021
Let me start this week’s story with a conversation I had with Kristi this week. She asked me a question about a group text my sister Patty sent out. I wasn’t able to answer because I hadn’t paid enough attention to the text Patty sent. Kristi then jokingly asked me if that’s the amount of attention I give to the text’s and emails she sends. I mean, I think that’s what she asked me. I felt it was my duty to inform her things have been this way with men and women since the beginning of time. I told Kristi there is a good possibility that Eve said to Adam, “If you eat this apple, we are going to get in a lot of trouble.” All Adam heard was “Eat this apple.” Or a more likely scenario was this. Adam asked Eve, “What do you want to eat today,” and Eve replied, “I don’t care.” Adam then asked Eve if she wanted fish and Eve said no. Adam asked Eve again, “What do you want to eat today,” and Eve replied, “I don’t care.” Adam asked her if she wanted to eat some berries, and Eve replied no. Adam asked Eve once more, “What do you want to eat today,” and again Eve replied, “I don’t care.” At that point, Adam said, “I could kill a snake and we could eat that, and Eve replied “Ooh, that’s gross, NO!” Then Eve asked Adam if he wanted a bite of an apple while he makes up his mind.
I want to wish everyone a Happy Valentine’s Day and hope you are enjoying some special moments with the one you love. If the year 2020 taught us anything, is that nothing in life is guaranteed and we need to let the special people in our lives know how much they mean to us. We need them to know how grateful we are for that love that can never be taken away.
I want to wish my beautiful girlfriend Kristi a Happy Valentine’s Day and let her know how grateful I am for all the Love and Support she gives me. I want to thank her for all the examples of love and compassion she gives to so many people. Kristi, you are such a selfless, compassionate, and loving person. You make me want to do everything I can every day to be the kind of man you can be proud of. Thank you for being my girlfriend and Valentine. I LOVE YOU! Thanks for reading.
Next week: Social Media Battles
P.S. Kristi, thanks for always putting up with my sarcasm. Where do you want to eat tonight?
